For years, department store juniors sections have been suffocated with bright repetitive all-over prints. Rainbows and rainbow stars and rainbow birds and rainbow turtles never were my thing.  Then this trend infiltrated other trendier stores and it seemed like you just couldn’t get away from it. I tried a blue tee with red apples on it and felt incredibly juvenile as soon as I left the house. Now, it barely makes it into my pajama circuit. Design thankfully has gotten more abstract and I’ve really been enjoying some of the random off-center t-shirt designs at UO and the like these days.

Now this.

Vans. I love Vans.

Then, there’s this. I love Fifi Lapin and have been following the bunny’s blog for quite some time (secretly wishing I had thought of her idea a long time ago when I was brainstorming web comic ideas to no avail).

80s throwback LeSportsac, the king of all-over prints, has teamed up with Fifi for a new collection of travel bags and the sort. Who the hell doesn’t like a fashionable bunny?

  • I took a much needed break from the interwebs last week. I don’t think I’ll be posting every single day for a while. By simply removing this self-imposed pressure, I’m feeling better already.
  • Rich Juzwiak’s coverage of last night’s Grammy Awards. Who needs to watch anything when you can get his hilarious and spot-on recaps?
  • Sergio Rossi for Puma – more covetable all back hi-tops. Sigh. These are fantastic! I miss my old green suede Pumas right now.

  • Looking forward to creating my own handwriting font with the free online program, YourFont.
  • 3 separate waves of delicious savory Mediterranean snacks on a lazy Sunday with the lovely boy.

  • The endless supply of cat hair that manages to get on my black clothing right when I have meticulously lint rolled my body and have one foot out the door.
  • Dusting, and dusting nic nacs, and nic nacs in general.
  • SUV baby strollers en masse at Maymont Park this Sunday! For god’s sake people! Normal parents of normal children do not need all-terrain wheels on Mini Cooper sized strollers to get their precious bundle of turds from point A to point B! I hope you pudgy dads lost a few pounds lifting those hulking monstrosities over the landscaping. Self-important entitled idiots!
