I follow a bunch of beauty product blogs but it’s not too difficult to resist temptation and not try ALL THE THINGS but, everyone’s been going nuts about the new Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo cream eyeshadow. They’re supposed to rival MAC paint pots, which I have yet to try. I’m ALL for something that touts 24 hour wear but did I really need a new eye product?
These swatches sealed the deal for me. Yes. Yes I did need a new eye product.
I played it safe and got the dark grey and taupe shades since these are also great primers to build off of. The grey is shimmery and the taupe is matte.
Just using my finger I smudged some of the grey around and blended. It gave a subtle daytime appropriate smokey eye.
Did it last? I wore it for over 24 hours, slept in it (shut up) and it didn’t smudge or crease! It did fade a bit overnight but whatever. I’m not sure how this would work on someone with oily lids but it may be worth a shot. If you apply a lot of the product, you can also risk creasing.
There are a bunch of bright vivid colors too but, I have white primer and shadow for that. For me, this will be for quick every day makeup.
If you have to go from day to night and don’t have time to touch up your eyes, if you have a special occasion, or if you’re just lazy like me… this stuff is great!

Awesome, thanks for sharing! I’m always looking for eye makeup that can last longer than 10 minutes without smudging and creasing…. and no judging here, I’ve been known to sleep in my makeup on more than one occasion :D

I used to wear the Revlon equivalent of these guys until they stopped selling them. I use the MAC primer which I love but wasn’t impressed with the eyeliner pot. So for eyeliner I’m using Bobbie Brown’s pot in Violet Ink but should try the maybelline for eyeliner I’m certain it’s half of what I’m paying for Bobbie’s.
