Last week my dad helped me get all my old toys out of his garage attic. I just wanted my Breyer horses so I can spray paint one white.
I remember when we packed them up. I had decided I was a “big girl” and didn’t want all my stuffed animals and Breyer horses on the shelves in my bedroom anymore.
My biggest regret was packing up Bunky. He was my friend for years, a little yellow lab puppy stuffed with beans, made by Russ toys. I took him to school with me on my first day of Kindergarten. I held him and cried at the doctor’s when I needed shots. I slept with him and took him everywhere.
I betrayed him once and bought a newer version of him I found but couldn’t live with myself and gave it to someone. I thought about him often.
I HAVE HIM BACK!

I’m not sure what it says about me, but I never decided to be a big girl. My big teddy bear has gone everywhere with me (including Italy!) and still sits on the end of my bed. Well, right now he’s hanging out on the radiator, but I’ll have to find him a better spot once they turn the heat on.
Ulti kills me with the cuteness.

Being a “big girl” is no fun! I don’t know what I was thinking!
Yay for teddy!
I want to spray paint my ballerina ‘awards’ from completing each year of dance class bright colors. I think they would be super fun as a corps on a shelf.
