- Kelly from Let’s Die Friends posted about her fave jeggings of all time – the Old Navy Rock Star fit. I’ve lost a lot of jeans this year. The crotch finally ripped in my beloved J Brands, 2 pairs were lost to a mishap with crap detergent and my one pair of jeggings are about to bite the dust. So, I looked at all the great reviews on Old Navy’s site, asked Kelly if they were true to their size chart (they are) and when they were having a crazy denim sale, I bought 3 pairs online (before my shopping ban), knowing I could easily take them back. I got Ruby – the darkest denim wash – an evenly dyed indigo – the kind Kelly is wearing in her post. I also got a pair in Dark Wash (which is pretty much just as dark but has more of a worn-in appearance in spots) and Saucy Red (still on back order). The only thing is they run short. So if you’re short, get regular and regulars get tall. If you’re in between sizes, go up. They’re snug. Oh oh oh! I love these jeans! Thanks Kelly!

Lara, how’s the rise on these? I’m on a hunt for skinny leg denim/jeggings but in a higher rise preferably! Realizing low rise doesn’t do much for the belly that I’m trying to lose right now.

The rise in the back is high and a bit lower in the front, like an inch below my belly button. Kelly says hers didn’t slide down but my natural waist is really high so I’ve had to tug up a bit. No big deal. I would maybe go up a size if it’s really important.

Aw man! I totally forgot that they run short! I ordered mine in long. It’s true, mine don’t slide, but it depends on your shape.
I also ripped the crotch in my favorite j brand jeans this year after 3 wonderful years together. right now I literally haven’t a single pair of pants I can fit into (thanks a lot road trip food!)

I will miss those J Brands. Girl, omg I have gained a bunch of weight the past few years. The Old Navy Rockstar Jeggings are my new favorites jeans though. I’m recommending them to everyone!
