Finally managed to give myself a manicure!
My friend Jen (she’s having her baby at 9am Pacific time today!) has been singing praises of Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure polish for a long time. I’m a major cheap ass though and can’t see myself spending $8 for nail polish.
Well, yesterday at CVS, I checked them out to see if they were on sale and this creamy yellow (Yellow Kitty) was 75% off. $2 and it was mine!
A lot of ladies have been talking about the new Chanel color Mimosa. I think this is close enough to get the same effect. Mimosa looks a bit brighter in swatch pics but yeah. This is way cheaper, compared to $40. Since it was on major discount though, I’m not sure if they’re discontinuing it.
2 coats with flash and top coat
Application was strange to get used to with the wide flat brush but 2 coats did the trick and it leveled out nicely before the top coat was applied. I’m pretty happy with this brand but I still won’t be paying full price for it. :)

definitely! This polish has worn really well for 5 days so far! I’m very pleased with it.
Cute! I’ve always been a big fan of yellow, but my skin tone tends to not agree with it. Makes me sad.
there are so many dif shades, you’re bound to find something you like. I would check out the testers at Sephora and go nuts!
