- My bff Jen could give birth to her 2nd baby girl any second now! She was hoping for Wednesday but now she’s just a ticking time bomb. She and her hubs don’t tell anyone the name until the baby’s born. I’m so excited to hear what Maggie’s little sister will be called!
- When the banks says there’s more money in your account than you thought! Yay!
- I gave Nibbles a lion cut this week. After cleaning up a ton of hacked up furballs AND brushing her every day, enough was enough. I did it with scissors and she looks like a lamb and I think she feels relieved.

Kim Kardashian’s engagement makes me ill. I don’t even watch her show or buy anything she promotes. But I do like to read the gossip rags to see what everyone is wearing and I think People or UsWeekly or someone had a huuuuuge spread about the engagement, including the fact that her ring is TWENTY CARATS. One of the rags did an infographic where they showed the flashy engagement rings of 5 or 6 other celebrities and added up the carats in their rings to equal the carats in Kim’s ring. And now looking at her registry, which is full of things that NO ONE needs or would probably even use. It’s just such a flagrant waste of money. I’m not saying that people who are rich should have to give all their money to worthy causes, but for Pete’s sake, this is just wasteful.

Everyone has been comparing this registry to Will and Kate’s wedding – how they requested that everyone give donations to charity instead. I mean, what could they possibly need? Also the grand total of this registry could easily be paid for by both of them. I think it’s some sort of stunt. I mean really? A jam jar?

I told my mom we should keep her cut like that all the time and just get her sweaters for winter! I think she’s warming up to the idea!
