My schedule is pretty flexible and I can meet up for lunch but I rarely do. Adrien from Looks Good From the Back and I have been talking about having lunch for a while now and finally made plans today. I stepped up my game a teeny bit but still totally wore the shirt I slept in.
I wrote about using kilt pins on drape front cardigans a while ago but never posted a pic of them in action so here ya go.
Oh, and as soon as I walked in the door (was given the rest of the day off! woohoo!) I immediately got into pajama mode and started ripping things off, then had to redress myself for this pic. I look a mess!
Those drapey cardigans are essentially giant rectangles with arms so, you have to play with the pins a bit until you get a look you like, without too much tummy bulk… or lots of tummy bulk. Whatever. They’re also great belted.
I’m in a tee w/ horses on it, jeggings, wool knee socks and my favorite black slouchy suede buckled calf boots.
A lady’s coming over to smoke my wig any time now! Can’t wait to have a new haircut!

Aww thanks! The bf and I live in a small 4-room apt so we have to keep it tidy since it can look messy really quick. There’s a long hallway on the left side and the doors to the living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen are all on the right. We have minimal storage space and… we’re neat freaks. I try to make the bed every morning and take all the dishes/trash from snacks and stuff to the kitchen whenever I get my ass off the sofa. The living room is where the real mess is. The quilt/coverlet came from TJ Maxx/Marshalls. They’re starting to get them back in now for Spring/Summer and they’re about $40. They’re all cotton and wash really well. The sheets are just some basic orange ones I got from Wal-Mart! Ha! I did the painting above the bed. Oh, and the sheepskin rug is from IKEA… and they can be washed in the washing machine and tumbled in the dryer! Who knew?
