breaking bad

So that cream cardigan I had pictured to wear as a cover-up for the wedding this weekend? I hadn’t bought it yet. Last month, I got a grey one at Target on clearance and for some stupid stupid reason, I thought, weeks later they would still have it in cream. 3 Targets (and a ton of other stores) later, I finally found an olive green one. Teeny cardigans just don’t seem to exist anymore. Everything is long, drapey and bulky right now.

So, I’m wearing the olive one that I like to call my lasagna cardi with the brown dress. This means shoes and bag have changed. I’ve had the heels for forever. The straps are like ribbons with orange, cream and olive stripes. So it’s all pulled together. Done and done.

So, I broke my shopping ban again and while I was at it, I really broke bad and got two more little sweaters on clearance!

I got this one in both charcoal and green. They were on clearance! Stop judging me! I am sooooo bad at keeping promises I make to myself!

That military style cardi was totally worth breaking your shopping ban!

Ha! Thanks! I thought so too! The Target on Midlothian has a better clearance section than Willow Lawn!

I think the Target clearance section should be an exception to shopping bans…the deals are just too good! Plus, cardigans are versatile and multi-season! Bam–justified! :)

I’m distressed by all the baggy big sweaters.

I don’t mind them… cinched with a belt or something… but I would still like some other options!
