Rarely ever one to embrace a printed fabric, I have always enjoyed Doo-Ri Chung’s clean modern aesthetic. The label Doo.Ri hasn’t been around for very long but Chung is already a multiple award winning designer for her classic pieces with luxurious twists. Her Spring 2010 ready-to-wear collection was almost risque and I liked it. Her dresses reminded me of BCBG Max Azria’s penchant for the perfect little cocktail dress (did not feel the prints in their current Spring collection) but the cuts of Doo.Ri were so much more modern and a bit more apt for a normal woman’s figure. You know, women who have stomachs? I love tulle over a satiny fabric and many of her dresses had this feature. Here are my favorites:
