Anyone see these Pour La Victoire tripple lace boots? While PLV makes high quality shoes, and these certainly have the price tag ($560) and are made of leather… how does a reputable shoe maker get away with blatantly ripping off Ann Demeulemeester’s most coveted shoe from last fall? The problem with these knock-offs is that they just never quite get it right. Something is definitely off with these boots.

I also saw these Hale Bob knock-offs a few days ago. (the lovely original) Of course at that price, they aren’t leather and most likely will dig and cut and feel as miserable as most super cheap shoes. I can see a $20 shoe distributor doing this but not PLV. A day late and a dollar short on both accounts.

Ouch — I avoid non-leather shoes at all costs! So uncomfortable.
I have to agree..non leather shoes are not very comfy.

Rip offs are just the worst and non-leather (as much as I’d like to be pc) is also horrible fitting and doesn’t breathe. thank you for making the case that saving $ through poor copies is never worth the $
