I’ve had my eye on some pretty little things lately but have been too busy to write about them.
First off, I want long gloves. Long and slouchy. This February when the AW08 collections were released, there were some serious long glove looks.

These are so different. They’ve been in my Flickr account for almost two weeks and have gotten some of the highest views of any picture I’ve added. Obviously, they’re piquing some interest. They’re by ACNE and are sold here.
I also need some good black pumps that will last me for an eternity. I have tortured myself in some lousy cheap shoes over the years and frankly, I’m sick of it. I had a conversation this past Sunday about a local store that sells independent label t-shirts with above average price tags. The shirts are intense and wonderful and perfect and I basically said that I would rather own 2 $30 t-shirts than 4 $15 ones. A friend had to disagree but seriously, wouldn’t you rather have what you really want instead of a pile of things that just don’t measure up? Of course I can’t afford these Maison Martin Margielas but I would like something reasonable, well made, and with some serious but subtle personality.
I also wish that the Demonia Deviant strappy sneaker boots weren’t entirely too large. ARGH! I guess I will have to dig harder for some all black Vans Sk8-his.
This semester has kept me so busy with reading, as well as working on this blog so, I am vowing that during my holiday break, I will make a zipper necklace!
