I don’t like most prints. You know this. Kate Moss doesn’t like them either! ;) I guess I have just never been one of those women who can effortlessly mix and match like Susie Bubble. I couldn’t get into the painterly pieces of many SS08 collections – giant brush strokes were obviously going to to become passé quickly. I’m terrified of all the florals that are coming next spring.
Then I saw this dress. I forget which helpful blogger alerted the public that this dress was available for dirt cheap at Charlotte Russe. I ordered it immediately and it arrived yesterday. I’m impressed with the quality and the black bias trim. It’s going to go with so many things. (Oh! This dress would be perfect for the holidays! This one too! Those prices are nuts!)

It’s a print but it’s a chaotic print. There’s no rhyme or reason to it. It’s also a dress – a singular piece that really only needs to be coordinated with shoes… okay, I’ll quit making excuses. It’s just awesome!
Then, I saw this dress on NotCouture. What is going on? I love this!!! A nebula to satisfy my inner geek!

Ronit Genik has started her own line of clothing, Reverie, after almost a decade in the fashion business. I can’t say I dislike anything she’s designed so far. Everything is simple and clean with a suprise twist. Exactly my style!
In the spirit of random patterns, here’s a view of springtime tulips being commercially grown in the Netherlands – like a natural crazy quilt!

That dress you ordered is so hot for you, I think you nabbed a perfect “you” dress!
I’m kinda hot for that nebula piece but I wish there was more contrast or darkness to it. Hrm come to think of it, a black belt with it would likely satisfy that.
My mom’s friend in sweden has some insane tulip gardens and your post makes me want to fly overseas and run through some crazy fields of tulips. Or daffodils but whatever. That picture looks unreal, like a computer screen doing something crazy!
