God bless TJMaxx. A few weeks ago I scored a cashmere-soft striped BCBG Max Azria v-neck for $30 that retailed for $180. Today, I got these leather lace-up boots for $35, that retailed for $119 at Macys. (This store on eBay is selling them on the cheap also, in a few sizes and in brown too! Just do a search in their store for “Bowdon”)
I know I was against the delicate sole (more for a flat boot), but as soon as I saw these boots, I had dreamy visions of the Madonna Confessions tour when it aired on regular TV and I sat mezmerized for an hour as Madonna stomped around in gorgeous sturdy heeled lace-up boots, al la Jean-Paul Gaultier.
